Technique: Built up through layers of acrylic paint, sections were then washed away, exposing the canvas beneath. This process reflects the idea of peeling back surfaces—revealing what lies hidden underneath.

Inspiration: This piece was inspired by the feeling of being not of this Earth—existing in this world, but not entirely of it. The dense darkness of the background, contrasted by hovering lights, suggests there is more to life than we know. Not in the sense of hidden places or undiscovered lands, but in life’s unseen layers—realities that remain unfelt, just beyond our perception.
